Diese kurze Suite wurde nach einer Reihe von gemeinsamen Konzerten der Blasorchester von Villesse und von Grado (Italien) komponiert.
Die dabei entstandenen freundschaftlichen Beziehungen waren Inspirationsquwllw  für die Komposition.

Die Komposition beschreibt die Stadt vor dem „Sabo Grand“ aus dem Blickwinkel einer Touristenfamilie und führt den Hörer  in das frenetische Leben der Stadt in den Tagen vor dem "Sabo Grando".

1. Der Eingang zur Stadt

Grado ist eine kleine Stadt an der Adriaküste. Sie liegt an einer verkehrsreichen Straße zur Lagune, und jeden Sommer nutzen viele Touristen diesen Verkehrsweg um einige Tage an der Sonne und am Meer zu verbringen.

2. Singen am Wasser

In den Wintermonaten ist die Stadt nur von den Einwohnern Grados bevölkert.

Der zweite Satz stellt ein  langsames Schlaflied dar, das in der kalten Jahreszeit ein Einheimischer während eines Spazierganges am Wasser vor sich hersummt.

3. Barbana

Barbana ist eine Insel am östlichen Ende der Lagune von Grado, Heimat des antiken Marienheiligtums; Der Name leitet sich wahrscheinlich von Barbano ab, einem Einsiedler aus dem 6. Jahrhundert, der in diesem Gebiet lebte und eine Schar  von Mönchen um sich versammelte. Ein kleiner Wald, der sich über die Westseite der Insel erstreckt, bedeckt mehr als die Hälfte ihrer Oberfläche: Die häufigsten Arten sind die Heidelbeere, Seekiefern, Magnolien, Zypressen und Ulmen. 

4. Sabo Grando

Nach einer Reise nach Barbana steht nun das  das große Fest von Sabo Grando bevor, das dem sogenannten Perdòn vorausgeht, welches der Jungfrau Maria für das Ende der Pestepidemie im Jahr 1237 gewidmet wurde.

This short didactic suite was written after a series of musical appointments between the bands of Villesse and the Civic Band of Grado. The friendly relationship created by the music has been the source of this work's writing. The author imagines the arrival of a family of tourists in town. The four movements tell of the frenetic life of the town in the days preceding the "Sabo Grando".

1. The Entrance to the city

Grado, is a small town on the Adriatic Sea. Located in a lagoon where every time you go there, you find numerous crossroads, often busy, and every summer, many tourists travel this road to spend many days of sun and sea.

2. Singing on the waterfront

In the winter months, the town is lived only by the people of Grado. The second movement, is a slow lullaby that represents a walk of a gradese in the cold winter months.

3. Barbana

Barbana is an island located at the eastern end of Grado lagoon, home of the ancient Marian sanctuary; its name probably derives from Barbano, a 6th century hermit who lived in that area and gathered around him a community of monks. A small forest stretching on the western side of the island covers more than half of its surface: the most common species are the hackberry, maritime pines, magnolias, cypresses and elms.

 4. Sabo Grando

Returning from a trip to Barbana, we prepare for the great festival of Sabo Grando that precedes the so-called Perdòn, born to thank the Virgin Mary for the end of an epidemic of the plague in 1237.

Questa breve suite didattica è stata scritta dopo una serie di appuntamenti musicali tra le bande di Villesse e la Civica banda di Grado. Il rapporto amichevole creato dalla musica è stato il germoglio per la scrittura di questo lavoro.L'autore immagina l’ arrivo nella cittadina da parte di una famiglia di turisti. I quattro movimenti raccontano la frenetica vita della cittadina nelle giornate che precedono il “Sabo Grando”.

1. L’Entrata in città

Grado, è una piccola cittadina sull’mare Adriatico. Sita in una laguna chi ogni volta che ci  si arriva bisogna scorrere numerosi incroci, spesso trafficati .Ogni estate numerosi turisti percorrono questa strada per trascorrere numerose giornate di sole e mare.

2. Cantilena sul lungomare

Nei mesi invernali, la cittadina è vissuta dai soli gradesi. Il secondo movimento, e una lenta cantilena che rappresenta una passeggiata di un gradese nei freddi mesi invernali.

3. Barbana

Barbana è un’isola posta all’estremità orientale della laguna di Grado, sede di un antico santuario mariano. Il suo nome deriva probabilmente da Barbano, un eremita del VI secolo che viveva nel luogo e che raccolse attorno a sé una comunità di monaci. Un piccolo bosco si estende sul lato occidentale dell’isola e ne copre più della metà della superficie: le essenze più diffuse sono i bagolari, i pini marittimi, le magnolie, i cipressi, gli olmi.

4. Sabo Grando

Di rientro da un gita a Barbana, ci si prepara alla grande festa del Sabo Grando festa che precede

il celbre Perdòn è nato per ringraziare la Madonna per la fine di una epidemia della peste nel 1237.
